Advent calendars
( number of products: 6 )The Doctor Horse equestrian advent calendar turns the wait for Christmas into 24 days of small surprises for horse and rider. From 1 to 24 December one window is opened each day, and inside are care products for the horse and for riding equipment, accessories, extras for the rider and festive treats. A gift like this for a horse lover brings joy throughout Advent, not just on the day it is received.
What is in the advent calendar for horse and rider
Roughly half of the windows are filled with Doctor Horse cosmetics: the Elf has 12 of them and the Reindeer 13. They are for caring for the hooves, mane and tail, skin and riding equipment, and most of them come in 100 ml or 100 g sizes. So the calendar lets you get to know the brand's bestsellers in small packs before moving on to horse care products in large packs.
The remaining windows hold accessories and small extras. Each calendar has a festive bag, with an elf in the Elf and a reindeer in the Reindeer, plus black plaiting bands in a pack of 100 pieces. For the rider there are a winter hat, socks and a 7 g lip balm, and the horse gets four treats: a hand-decorated Muffin Treat with an elf motif, a Heart Treat, a Christmas treat with the Doctor Horse logo and gingerbread-flavoured Fox Treats, a flavour available only in the calendar. For winter evenings in the stable there is also a warming tea made with black tea, dried apple and orange, cinnamon, cloves and ginger.
After Christmas, other horse treats can be bought in one-litre packs for every day or as decorated doughnuts for rewards. We also show the full contents of both calendars on their product pages. If you would rather have a surprise, do not scroll through them.
The Elf Advent Calendar with a Velvet Pearls saddle pad
What sets the Elf Advent Calendar apart is a navy Velvet Pearls jumping saddle pad in full size, with the Doctor Horse logo embroidered on both sides. All 12 cosmetics in it are 100 ml or 100 g. For hoof care there are Strong Hooves with Herbs oil, the hoof paste and Blue Hooves spray, and for the mane and tail there is Mane & Tail conditioner. The horse can be washed with Clean Horse shampoo, and the skin cared for with GrudBye spray, Plaster balm, Muzzle&GO balm and Mr & Mrs Horse mousse. For the equipment there are Czyścioch and Leather Oil. The Too Fresh for Flies mist rounds off the list. On top of that comes the pink glitter mist, which sparkles beautifully on the coat.
The Elf calendar box is red, green or blue.
The Reindeer Advent Calendar with two 500 ml cosmetics
The Reindeer Advent Calendar has no saddle pad, but it does have two limited-edition cosmetics in a full 500 ml size: Cinnamon Mane & Tail conditioner and green glitter mist. Both are available only in the advent calendar.
The other 11 cosmetics are 100 ml or 100 g. For the hooves there are Strong Hooves oil and Blue Hooves ointment, for plaiting the mane and tail there is LiK mousse, and for cleaning the coat without water a no-rinse dry shampoo. The skin is looked after by GrudBye ointment, Plaster balm, ParaSun cream and Mr & Mrs Horse mousse, and the leather equipment by Czyścioch, Leather Grease and Leather Oil. Among the accessories there is also a sponge for washing the horse.
The Reindeer calendar box is red, green or navy.
Elf or Reindeer calendar
Both calendars have 24 windows each and the same treats, so the choice comes down to the details. The Elf will be a well-chosen gift for someone who would be pleased with a new jumping saddle pad with an embroidered logo. The Reindeer will appeal to those who would rather get two limited-edition cosmetics in large bottles.
