Hoof care
( number of products: 16 )

Everyday hoof care is above all about conditioning the hoof horn. That is what the Strong Hooves hoof oil in three versions and the hoof paste are for. Blue Hooves products are used for thrush, and the Strong Hooves mineral lick tops up the horse's diet with biotin.
Strong Hooves hoof oil: classic, with herbs or with glitter
All three oils share the same vegan base: four plant oils of natural origin that condition the hoof horn and help maintain its elasticity. What sets them apart is what has been added.
The classic Strong Hooves is a pure care oil with vitamin E. It is applied twice a week to the washed, slightly damp walls and soles of the hooves. In wet periods, or when the horse stands on wet bedding, this can be increased to three times a week. Applied regularly to the sole and the area around the frog, the oil supports protection against excessive absorption of moisture.
Strong Hooves with Herbs smells of herbs because it also contains tea tree and oregano essential oils. It is an oil for the everyday care of hooves exposed to moisture. Strong Hooves with Glitter, on the other hand, combines conditioning with a silver shine. It can be used every day, not only before competitions.
Each oil comes in a tin with a brush and as a 500 ml or 100 ml spray. The tin stands steadily in the stable, and the spray will not spill even if it gets knocked over. That makes it a good choice when children look after the hooves or when a pony likes knocking tins over.
Hoof paste
A thicker alternative to oil is the hoof paste, a vegan paste with plant oils of natural origin, coconut oil and shea butter. These ingredients condition the hoof horn and limit how much it dries out, while petroleum jelly and paraffin form a protective layer on the hoof. The paste does not run. It is applied with the sponge supplied, precisely along the hoof walls. It can be used even every day, always on clean, dried hooves. The Winter Hoof Care Kit combines it with two Strong Hooves oils and Blue Hooves ointment.
Thrush products and a lick for the hooves
Blue Hooves are products for thrush in two forms. The spray is applied without touching the frog, while the ointment forms a lasting protective layer on it and can be left on overnight.
The Strong Hooves mineral lick tops up the diet with biotin, zinc, selenium and vitamin E. Biotin supports the growth and quality of the hoof, and zinc affects the condition of the skin and coat. The lick is intended for horses with brittle hooves, among others, and they should have constant access to it.
