Leather Oil - Saddle Oil Spray 100ml
- Saddle looks like after a rally through the scrubland? A few drops of our oil and your skin will once again be soft, supple and ready for more adventures.
Leather Oil spray is a vegan oil for looking after leather riding equipment, in a convenient spray form. Naturally derived vegetable oils penetrate the structure of the leather, feed it and help it stay supple. The spray does not spill, so application stays clean.
How to use the leather oil spray
First clean and dry the leather surface. Spray the oil onto a sponge or a cloth and work it over both the inner and the outer side of the leather. Do not apply the product directly to the saddle, put it on a sponge or a cloth. Leave it to dry and repeat the application if needed. For complete care, first clean the equipment with the leather cleaner. Store away from sunlight and use the oil within two months of opening.
How often to oil your equipment
With new saddles, three applications are recommended so that the leather is properly conditioned. Oil saddles every 4 to 6 months, or when the leather becomes stiff and hard. Bridles, reins, martingales and girths we recommend oiling once a year at most. We do not recommend oiling leather riding boots, jodhpur boots or chaps, because the oil can soften the leather and the boots may drop and lose their perfect fit.
What is in the leather oil and how it works
The blend of three naturally derived vegetable oils penetrates the structure of the leather, feeds it and helps limit drying out and cracking. Regular use keeps the leather supple and more resistant to the weather. Vitamin E completes the formula. The oil also helps protect equipment against mould, which extends its life. The product is vegan, with no glycerine and no artificial additives.
Spray or can: which version to choose
Leather Oil is available as a spray and in a can with a brush. The spray does not spill, so it is convenient to carry and handy wherever a container is easily knocked over. The can with a brush is ideal in the stable, where it stands securely and lets you spread the oil precisely. The choice depends on the conditions in which you look after your equipment.
