Leather Grease - Saddle Grease 200ml
- Lubricant ideal for taking care of your saddle, collar and leather girth or earthing.
Leather Grease is a grease for saddles and riding equipment that nourishes, protects and restores suppleness to leather accessories. The formula is based on plant oils and butters. 200 ml with a sponge that makes application easier, 100% vegan.
How to use the saddle grease
Clean and dry the leather surface before applying the grease. For cleaning, use the leather cleaner. Apply a thin layer of grease with the sponge included in the set and leave it to absorb. Repeat the application if needed. Store away from sunlight.
The recommended frequency is once a month. With equipment used daily or in damp conditions you can apply it more often.
Ingredients and how they work
The base of the grease is a blend of natural plant oils and butters that nourish the leather and restore its suppleness. Petroleum jelly and paraffin form a protective layer that guards against moisture, drying out and mould. The emollient reduces roughness and gives the leather a smooth appearance.
Regular use prevents the leather from stiffening and cracking, and it also helps to restore old, dried-out leather surfaces.
What to use it on
The grease is suitable for the care of saddles, bridles, girths and other leather riding accessories. It performs well both on new equipment (it maintains suppleness) and on older equipment that needs restoring. We do not recommend using it on footwear.

Frequently asked questions
How often should a saddle be greased?
The manufacturer recommends applying it once a month. With intensive use or in damp conditions, grease more often.
Does the grease protect leather against mould?
Yes. The protective layer of petroleum jelly and paraffin guards the leather against moisture, which encourages mould to develop.
How does grease differ from saddle oil?
Leather Grease has a thicker consistency and forms a more durable protective layer. Leather Oil penetrates deeper and absorbs faster, which makes it suitable for more frequent, lighter care.
