Bite Relief - soothing ointment after insect bites 450g
- Your horse was bitten by flies, mosquitoes and all the rest of the flying crew? Don't worry - apply the gel to the blisters and you're done with the problem
Bite Relief is a vegan Doctor Horse care balm intended for skin irritated by insects, in a 450 g pack. It is suitable after bites from flies, mosquitoes, blackflies and gadflies. The formula is based on moisturising agents, vitamin A and the essential oils of peppermint and tea tree.
What you will find in the formula
The item “moisturising agents” covers aloe vera, chamomile and D-panthenol. Aloe vera is credited with moisturising and cooling properties, and also with properties that support the renewal of the epidermis. Chamomile has properties that soothe the skin after irritation. D-panthenol has properties that rebuild the epidermis and limit the feeling of itching. Vitamin A is credited with properties that support the regeneration of the skin and strengthen its barrier and elasticity. Peppermint essential oil gives a cooling effect and masks the horse's scent from insects. Tea tree essential oil completes the care composition.
Which insect marks it is for
The product was created with the horse's skin during the insect season in mind, when flies, mosquitoes, blackflies and gadflies are a nuisance. Use it in the places where the skin needs soothing after a bite. Leave out places with an open wound.
How to apply it
Apply a small amount of the balm with your fingertips to the cleansed site of the bite and massage it in gently. Do not use the product on open wounds. Carry out a patch test before first use. Store the balm in a cool and shaded place, without exposing it to the sun.
